The Real Estate Ad Hoc Committee was originally the Real Estate Task Force initiated by the Governors of Arizona and Sonora in 2001. The Task Force members were appointed by Governor Hull and represented a diverse cross-section of experts, including attorneys, real estate professionals, appraisers, developers and government officials. In September 2004 the AMC Board of Directors approved the Real Estate Task Force becoming an Ad Hoc Committee and the Real Estate Ad Hoc Committee’s Bylaws were adopted. Committee members are now chosen and appointed by the committee. The Governor of Arizona appoints the two Co-Chairs who serve at the pleasure of the Governor.
